Hey guys, Cody will be here for Spring Break (from Florida) so if you guys wanna start thinking about stuff we could do - we can start making plans to hang out with him. Besides, Miranda and I need to start planning that week too.

Confirmation Retreat

You guys did an awesome job with the confirmands this weekend. I think they all had a great time and you guys are the ones to give the credit to. I believe they're all gonna feel really comfortable with joining us this summer. The next thing we gotta figure out is how we can deepen our relationships with them during the time between now and the day they get confirmed in April. They will join us in youth after that, but how can we stay connected with them until then? If you've got any ideas, post them here and we can come up with a plan together.

 

Ichthus

Check this out. We just got approval from the administrative board to go to this festival this summer.

Casting Crowns, Reliant K, Toby Mac, Audio Adrenaline, Deliriou5, David Crowder, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp, Pillar, Kutless, Skillet, Falling Up, Matt Redman, Day of  Fire, Hawk Nelson, KJ-52, Superchick, Sanctus Real, Building 429 - and these are only some of the bands. There are 4 stages - these are some of the ones on the main stage. In addition we'll be hearing from some incredible speakers too.

How cool is that?

Kid Beyond

Here's something I put up just for fun.

Check out this video - this guy is a human beat box, but he also uses a looping program to add more and more to his sounds. It's pretty cool . The video is an advertisement for the program so just skip ahead to the 4 minute mark to watch what he does. It's really amazing!!
